Where do you teach?
All of my tutoring sessions take place through the online platform Bramble. Bramble sessions are fully recorded, with PDF notes and a library of all the sessions a student has had - so there's no more wishing you could just check through that one part again! It's also easy on your bandwidth, so there's no need to worry about your Internet connection being able to handle it. ​
Alright, but do you have any qualifications?
In addition to 14 years of experience in tutoring, I completed my PGCE in Secondary Science in 2019. Between this,and my Msci in Biology, this means I technically have three degrees. I do of course, try not to boast.
How do I pay you?
Payment is via bank transfer at the end of each month. You'll receive an invoice, so there's no need to worry about putting a reminder in your calendar!
What do your current students say?
Valid question! I asked my students what they thought while I was building this website. The general consensus was "fair, supportive, with very high standards". I will, however, always have a soft spot for the one who said I'd turned her into "an academic weapon".

How much do you cost? Can I get a discount?
Sessions cost £40 an hour, and unfortunately, I don't currently offer any discounts! I do, however, operate a referral scheme - if you tell your friends or family about what I do and they book in for at least a month, you can expect me to knock £50 off your next bill.
What if I only want one session?
If I have room, I will happily offer one-off sessions! But... you might want to get in touch quickly. My bookings tend to fill up fast.
